Product Introduction:
The projection welding machine is a semi-automatic resistance welding equipment, specifically designed to weld metal rings to the inner mouth of the half section oil tank shell. The upper electrode is a ring-shaped structure with 7 fixed protrusions on the ring, which can be pre fitted with the metal ring to be welded and fixed on the upper electrode; The lower electrode is a circular load-bearing platform used for positioning and placing half of the fuel tank shell. During welding, the upper and lower electrodes are synchronously aligned, and the 7 protrusions are simultaneously pressed against the metal ring and powered on. The 7 welding points are completed at once, and the metal ring is firmly welded to the inner wall of the fuel tank mouth. The upper and lower electrode coils are connected to the secondary low impedance of the transformer through soft copper strips, ensuring balanced current distribution among the 7 welding points. There is a forced water cooling channel inside the annular electrode ring to continuously cool the electrode and protrusions, prevent annealing adhesion, and ensure continuous operation stability. The electrode ring adopts a modular quick installation design, which can be adapted to various fuel tank diameters by changing different diameter specifications, making the replacement convenient and efficient. The equipment adopts a semi-automatic cycle mode of manual feeding, automatic welding, and manual picking, with simple and reliable operation. It is a specialized equipment for the welding process of the metal ring at the fuel tank mouth.
Features:
1. The upper electrode is an integral annular ring structure, with 7 fixed protrusions directly machined along the circumference. The protrusions are formed as a whole with the ring body, without any loose or offset issues of independent electrode heads, ensuring constant positional accuracy of the 7 welding points during long-term use.
2. The lower electrode is a circular load-bearing platform used for positioning and placing half of the fuel tank shell. The upper and lower electrodes are installed in the center, and when the mold is closed, 7 pairs of protrusions synchronously contact the metal ring and the inner wall of the fuel tank mouth. The current path is the shortest and evenly distributed.
3. Both the upper and lower electrode coils are connected to the secondary winding of the welding transformer through high flexibility soft copper strips to achieve low impedance electrical connection. The 7 welding points share the same transformer circuit to ensure consistent current density and no bias current at each welding point.
4. Equipped with a four stage time regulator (pressurization, welding, maintenance, and rest), each time period can be independently adjusted. The welding time is precisely controlled between 0.3 and 0.5 seconds, and the maintenance stage ensures full crystallization of the melt nucleus, improving the strength of the solder joint.
5. The controller adopts thyristor phase-shifting triggering technology to achieve stepless smooth adjustment of secondary welding current. The slow start and voltage stabilization functions effectively suppress the interference of power grid fluctuations on welding energy, ensuring constant output current accuracy.

Fixed Convex Point Annular Electrode Assembly: One annular electrode ring on each top and bottom, with 7 fixed convex points on the ring. During welding, the upper and lower circles are pressed synchronously, and power is applied simultaneously at 7 points, forming 7 welding points at once. Internally water-cooled, quick change overall, compatible with different specifications of fuel tanks.

Cylinder: Adopting aluminum alloy cylinder barrel, low damping sealing ring, and light friction ring combination with hydraulic cylinder, the surface is wear-resistant and has a long service life, achieving extremely high dot speed, electrode pressurization, smooth and fast.

Gas Storage Tanks: The projection and spot welding machine is equipped with a dedicated gas storage tank, which is beneficial for reducing welding pressure fluctuations and ensuring stable welding force.

Waterway Components: All waterway components undergo surface treatment to prevent rusting, and waterway drainage is independently discharged to the water tank. Based on the outflow situation, blockages in the waterway can be observed and eliminated.

Welding Workpiece: Fuel tank shell+metal ring
The workpiece consists of a half section oil tank shell and a matching metal ring. Place the fuel tank shell facing upwards on the lower electrode platform, and press the metal ring onto the upper electrode accordingly. After welding, the metal ring is firmly fixed to the inner wall of the fuel tank opening, meeting the sealing and subsequent assembly requirements.
