Working Principle
The workpiece is pressurized and energized between the upper and lower electrodes, and having resistance welding.
When the resistance of the welding part is R (Ω), the welding current is I (A), and the power on time is t (sec), according to the formula: the current I that the metal material with a certain resistance value R passes through within a certain time t heats up due to the resistance, and the heat generated is Q. The metal resistance current is used to heat the molten metal, and then the metal is cooled, crystallized and connected under pressure. This is called resistance welding.

Welding Process
a) Pressurization time: It is appropriate to electrify the welding after the workpiece is firmly pressed by the electrode. The welding process is started before the workpiece is firmly pressed by the electrode, which is easy to cause burning loss and splash of the electrode or workpiece. The length of the working stroke of the electrode, the movement of the pressurizing mechanism, the deformation of the workpiece and other factors affect the setting of the pressurization time. Generally, the pressurization time is set to 15-20 cycles;
b) Holding time: used for metal cooling and recrystallization, generally set as 15-20 cycles;
c) Rest time: It is mainly used for continuous spot welding. The appropriate rest time can ensure the effective rest of the welding machine and operators.
